Burning Books Technorati icon

May 12, 2003 | Filed under:

While we drove to the station this morning I was talking to Kellie about DRM taken all the way to the end - a world where nothing is copied, borrowed, transfered without the content owner explicitly knowing about it... Surely and musician/artists/film-maker/writer/etc can't think this is the right future...

Kellie casually commented that it 'kinda like burning books'

And how right she is... t'would be such an uncreative world. A world of of silence.

All the more need for Creative Commons and smart solutions to the current dead-lock...
