I just joined davidbowie.com for the cheapest available $64.95. This guy is surely flirting with the future of music here. Whilst I am sure he is not making anything like the revenue through this site that he makes through tours and CDs, this service is a living example of how things might be in the future. Incredible that I just spent enough money to buy 4 or 5 CDs and I am happy. I have paid to be marketed to - and yet I feel like I belong. I am now listening to limited edition radio streams, I can chat with Bowie in chat rooms, I got a limited CD, I get advance concert tickets, I can read his blog...

4 channels of Bowie radio include a member channel where one member each week gets to design the skin and the playlist for the channel...
