My friend Morten has been thinking about something that obsesses me sometimes. Here is the question: How do I maximise getting tuff done overseas while minimising time away from the family. The diagram above is Morten’s thinking.
When working in Europe, I tend to spend the weekend with my family then leave Sydney Monday evening. This gets me to London for a full day’s work on Tuesday. Then I leave Friday night to get home Sunday morning for half a weekend.
